Happy Hump Day!
NEWS!!! ***Today is the last day to enter into the S2G blog hop challenge. Visit the challenge blog to check out the blog candy being offered. Some wonderful goodies!!!***
Today I am sharing this super cute image from Bells n Whistles. It is called Beary Big Hugs and isn't it just adorable. I love images by Elizabeth Bell. Her talent is amazing and just fit my cuteness factor.
I was thinking of my son's high school colors and one of the cheers that his girlfriend and the cheerleaders do..."PURPLE POWER". Isn't she and the bear the most squeezable ever??
I used my nesties to frame the image and embossed the background cardstock with a cuttlebug folder. Topped it off using my bow easy bow and added some rhinestones for extra bling. What do you think???

Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad
My parents will be celebrating their 43rd wedding anniversary on the 25th and I wanted to create a card just for them. I am a little late in mailing this since it has to travel from WA to UT...but they won't mind. I will give them both a quick email and phone call on the "day" so they will know I didn't forget. I am their one & only so it is all up to me!
I decided to use this super sweet image by Elizabeth Bell and Bells 'n Whistles Stamps called Sweet Love. Isn't that just perfect? Summer, the owner of Belles 'n Whistles is one of four stores in the US that is working exclusively with EB and her stamps are just super cute.
I dp I used is from K&Co. called Classic K (I think). I just love all the colors and paper choices this pack had. I tried to keep it neutral so my dad didn't get something too feminine. I am learning more & more about shading with my copic markers. The cardstock I used is from PTI and on their website they have a chart that tells you what color copics work in conjunction with their colors. For me that is a tremendous help.
I added a close up shot of the image so you can really see the cuteness factor! I used this week's sketch by Jen del Muro. I just love her sketches & decided to give it a try for this card. She has some lovely ideas on her website.
Have a lovely rest of the weekend and don't forget the LOST series finally is tomorrow night. This is a must see and I am sad to see it leave the air but I know the ending will be great. Have a lovely evening.

Hanging around on a Wednesday evening!
Tonight I would like to share a super cute image from Elizabeth Bell and Belles 'n Whistles. I am answering the call for a design team member with Belles 'n Whistles. The wonderful owner Summer has four spots open and the ladies on the team are just amazing. I created a birthday card for my BFF that will arrive to her late. I misjudged my time but will send her wishes in other ways. This just keeps the celebration coming!
I used the super cute Smile stamp. She is just hanging out on a limb enjoying her day. Isn't she a cutie? I just love the hat she is wearing.
The dp is from Basic Grey and the cardstock is from PTI. I custom colored the flowers with my copics. I love how you can customize white flowers...and don't you just love the bella baubles?
Sorry I am not very interesting today..I think I am getting punchy. Have a great evening.

I found some MOJO!!!
Happy Labor Day to you...
I am sitting in my craft room enjoying the quiet. The guys are at football practice and I am enjoying the storm blowing through our area. The window is open a bit to fell & smell the breeze and the rain is falling in spurts. I am glad I am not sitting at the stadium...these moments are precious and relaxing. I will be baking a turkey in a bit for dinner. My hubby likes to take his lunch (he works all around the City of Tacoma) and he is trying to eat healthier. I try to cook up extra chicken, turkey or pork roasts for leftovers. What a perfect day to have a turkey. Well enough of my chatter...I want to share a project.
This sweet image is from Belles 'n Whistles and is a new Elizabeth Bell Image titled Lemonade Anyone? I just love EB stamps. What a wonderful artist she is!
I made this image holder for a sweet lady. She made me some beautiful croched flowers & I am sending off some stamped images she would like. I used copics; DCWV paper; Bazzill flowers and Shimmerz Sprits (that the wonderful & fabulous Susana sells in her store...Shimmerz is 30% off right now!). I used cotton candy to make the flowers pink & baby's breath on my image. It's yummy!
This is the inside of the image holder. I borrowed this folder from Jodi . It's fast & easy and better then just putting the images in the mail all by themselves. This way I am able to showcase my work & make someone feel special. That's all for today. Keep a lookout...I just might have more for you to see this week. :)
