What a sunny & BRRR cold Thursday we are having. It has been wonderful to see the blue sky and sun shining...but the temps in the low teens and even single digits is just not normal for us. Several people I know have had their pipes freeze and one even had their furnace conk out. What a time to have that happen. Their house got down to 39 degrees INSIDE, but is it all fixed and should be warm and toasty now.
Today I have a few more Christmas cards for you. My intention was to have all handmade cards for this year...but it just isn't going to happen. I should have about a dozen for those extra special family & friends and the rest will receive cards I purchased. I will work on it for next year and not leave it to the end of November. What a silly girl I am.
I have been racking my brain to remember the name of the company where I purchased these stamps, but it is lost in the abyss. I did get them at a local stamping show held in our fairgrounds. I love the quilted look they have.
I added liquid glass to the ornament to give it some added texture and kept the layout the same for what I thought would be a more speedy way to make them. It was easier...but not as speedy as I had hoped. Just goes to show you I need to do this on a regular basis. Practice makes perfect.
Again I used a layout from Suzanne. She is just amazing and a real inspiration. I really enjoy all of her work & what a sweetheart. She is so willing to help all of us out. She gladly shares her knowledge and has made numerous videos that I watch over & over. You need to check out her site. Have a wonderful weekend & keep WARM!

Love them all Mae! Also - I wanted to send you a X-mas greeting - since I don't know when I'll get the time to visit your blog with all this X-mas stuff to fix before Santa arrives...hihi..... I also want to upload some more digi images in my Etsy shop - so we'll see how much time I will have for the X-mas cleaning around the house ;-) Sending you warm hugs and thank you for all your sweet comments and support during the year! Very cute!
These have such a warm and homey feel to them. Very nice.
I'm in the same boat as you with making holiday cards. I wait until mid to late November then kill myself trying to make 50 cards - most of which are for my hubby's co-workers who probably couldn't care less about the amount of work I put into them. So last week, I picked up a box of storebought Christmas cards, on clearence, and will save them for next year to give to the co-workers. I also plan to make one Christmas card a week throughout the year so all the cards are done by November with no stress. I already have 2 done.
I noticed your profile said you were an accountant in the construction field. Me too.
Beautiful cards!
